LEAN & Agility

In the literature Agility is getting more and more attention. Most people assume that Agility is the complete counterpart of Lean. According this black&white opinion, LEAN is ideal for stable (predictable) environments, while Agile is the strategy to be followed in case of dynamic (unpredictable) markets.

P41 brings Agility to the practice and states that évery company/organisation, needs to be agile. Agility, according to us, means to cope with (extreme) levels of variation. Every company should be looking for robust systems that can handle all kinds of variation. That is our mission, to find variation-independent solutions. This will be the key for survival and competivity in an ever-changing world.
