At the dawn of the i4.0 age we can expect a lot of new technologies that enable people to do more without the mastery of an expert. I can image a moment where youngsters compose a new song with any knowledge of music notes, but the AI will provide the correct music scores and guidance to play a piano! The same accounts for the other arts of painting, writing, dancing, taking pictures and even play video games! So everybody will be a superhero.
Anyway i4.0 breaks down the barriers so everybody is able to perform the job he or she wants. This in turn will create a new urge for different types of jobs, products, needs and desires. I got inspired by the statement of Syndrome in the first Incredibles movie: “And when I’m old and I’ve had my fun, I’ll sell my inventions so that everyone can be superheroes. Everyone can be super. And when everyone’s super…no one will be.”
Digital provides a breakdown of barriers leading to a new normal where everybody has the chance to develop him/herself.
